graffiti on guadalupe

yesterday, having an hour to kill, i parked my car several miles from campus and walked down guadalupe (also known as "the drag"). my focus: graffiti. i'd noticed over the past several weeks that people seem to have tagged or posted flyers/stickers on every random trash can and light post near the hyde park neighborhood. but what surprised me is that people seem to use ANY public space to as a space for their work. i'm obsessed... part two to follow
